I have tried a fair few different beauty box subscriptions since being a beauty blogger, some that have been absolutely wonderful and others that weren't so great. Look Incredible is a brand that offer different variations on their beauty boxes, I've previously reviewed their standard beauty box but today I will be taking a look at their deluxe edition. The Look Incredible Standard Beauty Box retails for £18.99 and the Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box* retails a little higher at £35.00.
The deluxe edition, as expected, is a complete luxury and contains five full size products from well known and reputable brands that you will love. The standard beauty box still contains some amazing products but if you're looking for high end, luxury brands then you'll definitely want to try this edition. Inside this months box I discovered the following lovely products and brands...
Ultrasun After Sun which excited me a little too much purely because I was actually in desperate need of some after sun skincare after having a nasty reaction to the sun on my arms. Ultrasun is a brand I have used before and I use on a daily basis, I run to their SPF 50 for face in my morning skincare routine and I also use the standard SPF on the rest of my body. What I love about Ultrasun is their products are high quality and contain UVA and UVB protection without leaving your skin feeling tacky or uncomfortable.
Giorgio Armani Second Skin Blush is the next product inside the box and it comes in this amazingly bright red shade which is shade 02, its definitely a little out of my comfort zone as its quite a strong shade compared to what I'm used to but I can definitely make it work on my skin tone with a light hand and a good quality stippling brush. On application the product has a really lovely soft texture, it glides onto the cheeks beautifully and is actually a really nice subtle shade once you've worked with the product a few times.
MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus 2, how exciting, I love a good MAC lipstick and I've never tried any of the Viva Glam range so this was a really pleasant surprise. The shade is a pure beautiful red and has a matte finish which is also really nice as I don't have any MAC lipsticks that are matte in my collection. The shade is beautiful and I can see why they relate this to Miley Cyrus, its the perfect summer tone and thankfully it suits me really well too!
Benefit Dew The Hoola is a pretty new product to the Benefit line and a very interesting one also. Benefit's original Hoola bronzer is amazing and I would be lost without it so I knew I would really enjoy the liquid version of the product. I find the shade to be slightly more warm toned than the powder version of the product so I will most likely stick to this product throughout the summer months but its really nice, it gives my skin a lovely bronzed glow and it works really well on those no makeup days.
Finally inside this months deluxe edition is the Bio Derma Hydrabio Riche, a moisturising cream for dry and dehydrated skin. It's really nice to see a product inside a beauty box that is targeted at dry skin instead of oily, my skin type is dry and dehydrated so I was very pleased by this. This is the one product from the box I am yet to try so I can't give my thoughts on it just yet, I have heard some wonderful things about the brand Bio Derma and considering the product retails for around £15 I have some high hopes that it will work really well for me.
After sampling both the standard beauty box and the deluxe beauty box I think in the future I will opt for the deluxe edition just because I was so pleased with all of the products inside and the value is incredible.
