When it comes to makeup brushes there are a lot of brands out there to choose from, some are budget friendly and some are more of a luxury splurge but personally I recently discovered a set of five makeup brushes, identical to Real Techniques for just over a fiver.
I thoroughly enjoy a spot of browsing on eBay from time to time and a few weeks ago I landed on a set of five makeup brushes that looked identical to Real Techniques and came in a variation of different colours. What surprised me the most was the price, I popped a purple set into my basket and a few days later they arrived in the post, in total the set cost me just £5.90 with free delivery.
The set of five are duo-fibre style brushes, very similar to the style of the Real Techniques stippling brush. The bristles are soft, flexible and good quality which is exactly what I look for in my makeup tools. In the set you receive a flat top brush, stippling brush, angled top brush, rounded top brush and a pointed top brush, in all honesty the set is absolutely perfect for anyone especially those who are new to makeup. I find the flat top brush works perfectly with liquid foundation, you can really build up the coverage and work the product into the skin for a flawless finish. I am yet to experience any faults with these brushes, in particular I haven't had any shedding from any of the five brushes even when they were given a good clean.
Overall I am really impressed with my new set of brushes so if you are on a budget or you just want to try something new then I highly recommend checking these out on eBay, the quality has really surprised me and I will definitely be trying more from the seller in the future.
