June Favourites

I really can't believe how quickly the year is going and how soon Summer has come upon us! Over the month of June I was loving a fair few different things, its been a pretty good month all round. Don't forget that you can find out more about this months favourites over on my YouTube channel

When it comes to skincare, I'm totally up for any products that are going to keep me looking young and wrinkle free so I picked up the Olay Anti Wrinkle 2 in 1 Firm & Lift Anti Wrinkle Booster and Firming Serum because it was half price in Superdrug, I loved the packaging and of course the claims on the box totally drew me in! I've been using this every night and I'm loving how soft and plump my skin feels in the mornings, obviously I haven't been using it long enough to comment on how well it works on fine lines and wrinkles, but I will definitely keep you updated. The serum leaves my skin feeling lovely and moisturised, smooth and bright.

Then of course because the entire range was on offer I thought I'd also try the Olay Anti Wrinkle Firm & Lift Eye Renewal Gel which I can safely say is a new favourite eye product of all time. I've been looking for a gel texture eye product for such a long time, as they sound so lovely and hydrating. Similarly to the serum I have been using this in the evenings and my eyes feel smooth, hydrated and nourished in the morning. My concealer and other makeup seems to sit on my skin so much nicer since I've been using this product too!

The Nip & Fab Glycolic Instant Fix Mask* is a product I thought I would completely hate, at first it sounded like it was aimed at oily skin and my skin is dry dry dry. I thought I would give this a go on my t zone as I have been having little breakouts and blackheads lately and this product has actually worked wonders on those. I'm so impressed at how this has kept my skin clear, bright and yet not completely dried it out at the same time.

I've been really enjoying the Rodial Glamtox Eye SPF 15* because now that we're into the warmer weather and the sun is making an appearance, it is so important to use SPF (as it is all year around also). I've not found an eye cream that included SPF that I liked until I tried this one, Rodial is a very lovely brand and although a little more pricey than your average product from Boots, it is so worth the money and as you can expect, a little goes a very long way so the tube will last you forever.

Seventeen Stay Time Concealer is an absolute new favourite product, maybe even holy grail! I picked this concealer up because I was really struggling to find the Collection one in stores and I was also starting to find it a little too drying for my eyes and I wanted a more brightening concealer to try. I had heard from a few people that this particular concealer was good and I can totally agree. The coverage is fab, although you have to apply a little more than the Collection, it blends into the skin beautifully and you can build the coverage up without it feeling heavy or thick. If you're a pale girl like me and you struggle to find a drugstore concealer that is light enough in shade, I encourage you to try this one as it is amazing stuff.

For my birthday in May I received the Makeup Revolution The One Blush Stick in 'Dream' which is a very similar shade to NARS Copacabana, its a very beautiful light pink shade with a hint of shimmer.  I find this product so easy to apply and the texture is so smooth and creamy that it is just effortless to blend into the skin. The blush sticks are only £5 which is a fraction of the price of any NARS highlighters, so if you're on the hunt for a similar shade to Copacabana, this one is lovely.

Finally I have been totally obsessed with the Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow Palette in 'Iconic Elements' which is a dupe of both the Naked Basics and Naked Basics all in one palette for a bargain price of £4. I have wanted to try the Urban Decay palettes for a while but just wasn't 100% sure if I would use the shades enough, or if it would be a waste of money. I love a good matte eyeshadow palette so this one is perfect, with 11 matte shades and 1 shimmer, I have found myself very attached to this palette ever since I got it for my birthday!

What have you been loving lately? Let me know in the comments.
