Beauty Favourites of 2014

It feels like my last favourites post was a long time ago, and my 2013 favourites feels even longer ago. Throughout 2014 I discovered so many fantastic products, and I am so super excited for what 2015 may bring including my 21st birthday! 2014 has been a fab year, in many ways and I hope it has been for you too. I don't have many, but there are a few items that have really stood out to me over the year, whether they're new or old, I have really loved them.

Mac MSF Soft & Gentle
Oh my, what a beauty, I received this for Christmas in 2013 and I haven't put it down since! This beautiful highlighter is a fab pick me up, it gives your skin the most beautiful glow without looking overpowering or false. Mac you really have won me over with this product, and I can see myself loving it for many years to come.

Maybelline The Falsies
I'm a bit of a mascara addict, and a fussy one, so to find a mascara I really love and to repurchase it over and over, is new to me. I have poker straight eyelashes that instantly drop the second mascara touches down, but with the power of The Falsies (in waterproof), my lashes stay looking beautifully curled all day long. Thank you Maybelline for creating something that really does what it says on the packaging.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Stick
I picked this product up say half way through the year, I actually grabbed myself a bargain as the range was being sold off in Asda, so these were around £2.00 each! I love the shade 'bad girl bronze' which is a beautiful bronze with a tiny hint of shimmer, it's so easy to wear and I've found myself smudging it all over the lids for days as its so easy, long lasting and looks lovely.

Collection Extreme Felt Tip Liner
I have tried every felt tip liner to the moon and back, from £5 to £20 and this is by far my favourite and it's less than £4.00. Felt tip liner seems to be the easiest for me to use, personally, and I absolutely love this one, I've even got my Mum using it! It's super black, stays put all day and is so easy to apply  I really do recommend this to anyone wanting to try liquid or winged liner with ease.

Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow
2014 saw the release of the new brand Makeup Revolution who have caused a storm in the blogging world, they have some amazing products so if you are yet to check the brand out, please do! I love their eyeshadows but in particular the shade 'touch me' is a favourite, it's a lovely nude colour that is so creamy and pigmented which works perfectly on the brow bone and inner corner.

Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick
Back in Summer I picked up the shade 'hot plum' which I wore for months non stop, I was always getting compliments on my fabulous lip colour. This colour is amazing, so bright and colourful perfect for nights out or summer time. I love the Rimmel lipsticks and the colour sensational line is a must have in your collection if you love bright, neon shades.

Miss Sporty Eyeshadow Quad
A few months ago I was on the hunt for some new eyeshadows, something from the drugstore that wouldn't break the bank, I just wanted to try some new brands. I'd not really tried Miss Sporty before but their eyeshadow quads are fantastic whether you're brand new to makeup or a professional. I have fallen in love with the quad called 'smoky rose' which consists of the most beautiful colours, I will be featuring this palette on my channel soon, creating some looks with it so stay tuned!

Those are my favourite items from the year of 2014, as I said, there weren't masses of products but these are just a few that really stood out from the crowd, the ones I will continue to use in 2015. Thank you so much for reading and I wish you every happiness and success for the new year.
