Review | L'Oreal Paris Eye & Lip Makeup Remover

Hello everyone! Today I have a review of a new favourite product included in my skincare routine, I don't usually use an eye makeup remover as my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish can do the job but recently I've been venturing into the world of eye makeup remover to remove every little scrap of makeup from my eyes. I've used one from Clarins and Decleor in the past which are pretty pricey brands in my opinion, but this particular product matches up to be as good as those two brands.

I picked up the L'Oreal eye & lip makeup remover a couple of weeks ago and have fallen in love with it, I now find myself using it every night (only if I've worn makeup). I always worry about using eye makeup removers because my eyes are pretty sensitive and a lot of things tend to irritate them, thankfully not this product.

The formula is of one which requires you to shake to activate, basically mixing the two ingredients together. I simply apply a small amount to two large oval cotton pads (I prefer these as they're that bit bigger than standard cotton pads) and place onto my eyes for around ten seconds before wiping away. I don't find myself scrubbing or rubbing my eyes vigorously which is something you don't want to be doing, your eye area is so delicate and you have to be super careful around there. If I've worn very heavy eye makeup, especially eyeliner on my lash line I tend to use a cotton bud soaked in the remover and just wipe along any areas that makeup still remains, this stuff works wonders! It also doesn't leave a horrible oily residue behind like some removers can, and it's a pretty colour blue!

If you're looking for a new eye makeup remover or were wondering about this then it's definitely worth trying, I believe it retails at £4.99 but was actually on offer for £3.00 something when I got it, always check between Boots & Superdrug and even shops like Tesco to see where it's cheapest!
Whats your favourite eye makeup remover?

  1. I've picked this up and put it down about 6 times now, it's ridiculous! Need to try as lily Melrose says it's a dupe for Clarins!

    1. You definitely need to try it! It's super good and I agree it is a dupe for Clarins, so much cheaper and just as good. Although the Clarins is super nice if you want to spend more!

  2. I have this one myself and I really like! The only thing I don't like is the packaging, the remover comes out way to quick and I just splurge it everywhere.

  4. Totally agree, this is my new love!! The price point and more importantly how gentle yet effective it is makes is AMAZING!! I always used to struggle with removing eye makeup and avoided mascara like the plague because of the dreaded panda eyes, but this has encouraged me to make use of my few mascaras before they all dry out haha
